The British Longboard Union is delighted to announce that the National Trust will be its Environmental Partner for the British Longboard Championships 2012.

The 2012 National Trust British Longboard Championships will utilise the National Trust beaches of Woolacombe and Crantock within the series with Woolacombe the opening venue.
The National Trust works hard on behalf of surfers and water sports enthusiasts to conserve and protect some 10% of our coastline across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The aim of the partnership is to raise awareness of the invaluable work the National Trust does.

Woolacombe 21st-22nd April: TBC
Perranporth; 19th-20th May: The Watering Hole (The Beach Bar)
Crantock; 30th June-1st July: The Bowgie Inn (Overlooking the West end of the beach)
Gwithian; 15th-16th September The Sunset Surf Cafe (Overlooking Gwithian)
Also, new for 2012 is a new division for those 50 yrs old and over, the Grand Masters. Old Guy's rule has kindly agreed to sponsor this extra division as well as the Masters as in previous years.

The final event of the European Championships resulted in Ben Skinner European Champion with Adam Griffiths 2nd, Ben Howey 6th and Zak Lawton 10th

Can all surfers who were 50 yrs old on the 1st January 2012 please email me with their date of birth and if they wish to enter the new 50 yr and plus division (Grand Masters) in 2012. This is required for me to build a list of names for the event template.

Could all U16 and U18 competitors please email me with their date of birth so that I can make sure you are all in the correct age group in the lists for this year.
