The British Longboard Union (BLU), has again been sanctioned by the National Governing Body, The British Surfing Association (BSA) to run the 2010 British Longboard Championships following the success of the 2009 Championships.
These events attract some of the top Longboard surfers in the UK who regularly go on to represent the UK on the World stage. Top class competitors also compete in the Masters division which is also highly competitive. The Juniors (U18), are the feed stock of the sport and have produced some memorable competitors of a high standard.
The BLU is seeking suitable sponsorship for the remaining unsponsored events in the 2010 series.
The events provide a linked web site presence, event exposure on the day, with local press, magazine and internet reporting.
